Actor Jonathan Majors has been found guilty of two counts of the four counts against him in his assault trial.
The jury found the "Creed III" actor to be guilty of 2nd degree harassment and 3rd degree assault- a misdemeanor. Majors faces up to one year behind bars for the charges.
Jabbari (ex-wife) testified that on March 25 she saw Majors texting another woman on his phone, and as she grabbed the phone, he physically assaulted her. She claims he slapped her in the face, fractured a middle finger after twisting her arm behind her back and delivering "a hard blow" across her head inside of a private car
Walt Disney Co. has fired him from its upcoming Marvel films. IndieWire has confirmed with a rep for Marvel. There are no additional details about what the company's next steps will be, or the role of Kang the Conquerer will be recast.
Majors firmly denied the accusation and maintained his innocence claiming he was, in fact, the victim as he suffered several scratches from the altercation.
